Your Story Matters is a documentary photography and visual storytelling workshop series led by Zizo Bongekile Manona, a South African documentary photographer and visual artist.
Through photography, observation, creative exploration, and storytelling, the workshops invite you to look more closely at the people, places, and everyday moments around you. You'll learn to approach photography with greater intention, develop your visual storytelling skills, and discover how images can communicate meaning beyond what we see at first glance.
This isn't just about learning how to use a camera. It's about developing your ability to see, document, interpret, and tell stories through images.
